Welcome to Maddie's Movie Reviews. As you can guess, my name is Maddie, and I like watching movies. It isn't particularly my favorite passtime, but I enjoy a little bit on the side. Here is where I talk about and critique movies I watch whilst trying to be as unbiased as possible. Typically for one review I watch movies twice, once just to watch it and the other for notes. And then, a year passed
3/19/2025 - Howdy folks. Been awhile, hasn't it? The last time I touched this site, I hadn't graduated high school yet. Now I have! Yippee! I've been watching a few movies in recent times and have been thinking about getting back into all this blogging and reviewing stuff. Some good, some bad, all movies regardless. Also, making this website all by hand is giving me some pretty good HTML experience, so that's nice.
So what's new? I've been working on College lately. I just finished my second term (midterms are in, like, 40 minutes as I'm writing this) and I'm moving towards getting my degree in Computer Science. I know that job security is more than a little shaky in the tech industry right now, but it's the only thing I'm really good at. It's either I end up in a homeless shelter now, or I end up in a homeless shelter after I get fired for pushing to main an entire week before we release a project lmao. Also, I'm gonna be working on my "Current hyperfixation" pages and "my music" pages soon, cuz I've been doing a bit of work recently on that front. Plus, who better to ramble aimlessly about my interests to people who do not care in the slightest to than people interested in my website?
Stuff is in the work, gang. Expect some new stuff in the coming few weeks.
